Jaki, a successful manager of a large corporate company
in New Zealand, has always disliked her nose. She longed
to do something since she was very young, as she was
self conscious about the shape and size. Her breasts
suffered after breastfeeding 2 children, and she was
left with shapeless breasts that felt unfeminine and
old before her time.
As she says, “I wanted to be able to wear all
the sexy backless dresses and tops that are in the shops
but didn’t feel I could as they looked awful with
a flat chest. Liposuction I considered after many many
hours in the gym and being at an age that I just couldn’t

She started speaking to surgeons in New Zealand, and
after a long search, she chose her plastic surgeon to
do the operation. She couldn’t afford all the
treatments that she wanted, so she had decided to just

All set to go ahead with her surgery in New Zealand,
one morning she turned on the radio on her way to work
and her life changed. She heard on a popular radio station
in New Zealand an interview with Louise Cogan from Gorgeous
Getaways. As she says, “I was immediately intrigued.

me excited. Secondly I would be able to combine surgery
with a holiday in a country I had never been to but
had heard all about and how beautiful it is. The fact

The nerves and anxiousness she had about surgery overseas
and traveling by herself soon disappeared when she arrived
in Kuala Lumpur.
The first stop was her hotel – The Ascott –
which she describes as “a beautiful hotel and
the staff were just great. My suite was always cleaned
immaculately and the food was lovely. I would stay there
again any time.”
She then met Lennie (Gorgeous Getaways manager in Malaysia)
who took Jaki to the consultation at Ampang Hospital
with Dr Jalil. She recalls, “I immediately struck
up a friendship with her as she is so easy to talk to
and shows a great interest in people she is talking
with. The entire time I was in KL Lennie was available
for taking to and picking up from appointments and we
also did some shopping at the malls. I will continue
my friendship with Lennie for a long time as she is
such a wonderful and helpful person and we got on great.”
Her experience at the hospital was equally as positive:
“The staff at the hospital couldn’t do enough
to help. They were always there to make me feel as comfortable
as they could and I never felt like I was a burden.
The English language ability of the staff was exceptionally
good which made me feel easier knowing that they understood
my needs.”
And what does Jaki think about the results of all her
surgery treatments?
“I am so pleased with the results Dr Jalil has
achieved. I no longer turn my head around so people
can’t see my profile and I can finally wear all
those sexy dresses and tops.”
“I have gained confidence and feel totally positive
about myself and how I look. People have made so many
positive comments about how I look and how confident
I am in the way I act. A few of my close friends, my
friend who owns her own beauty parlour and, most of
all, my partner have all made comments on just how natural
my new breasts look and feel. The scarring is minimal
and is well hidden so I don’t have to worry about
it.”
“The main benefit I have achieved would have to
be my soaring confidence. I wasn’t a shy, retiring
person before hand, by any means, but this has just
taken me to whole new levels of confidence. People have
also commented on how young they think I am and I have
to put part of this down to the way I feel about myself
and life now.”
Jaki also was so happy with the results from her treatments,
