Thermage:
The Thermage procedure is a non-invasive treatment clinically proven to deliver tighter skin, renewed facial contours and healthier collagen. (Collagen is the building block that provides structure to your skin.) The Thermage procedure is available only in the offices of qualified physicians who specialize in cosmetic procedures.

Best suited for:
Thermage is best suited for those who are starting to see signs of aging: early jowling, loose skin, creases around the nose and mouth, and wrinkles around the nose and mouth. It is not designed a substitute for a face lift. So, if you are someone who has heavy jowling, a turkey-gobbler neck, and loose lax skin of the face and neck, you are likely to see some improvement after thermage, but not a dramatic improvement. If, on the other hand, you have medical problems that prevent you from having a face lift (or if you simply do not want to have surgery), then Thermage will at least offer you something - you just need to adjust your expectations.
Thermage will also help people with active acne and acne scars. Just one treatment will give visible improvement in most people.
How does it work?
The Thermage procedure employs a patented monopolar capacitive radio frequency (CRF) technology called ThermaCool™. The incision-free procedure is fast and easy, and requires no downtime from normal activities. Unlike lasers, the procedure can be performed on patients of all skin types. The ThermaCool device has been cleared by the FDA for the non-invasive treatment of wrinkles.
How long does it take?
The Thermage procedure can take anywhere from twenty minutes to two hours, depending on the size of the treatment area. Additional time may be required for skin preparation prior to the procedure.
What will my skin feel like after the procedure?
Immediately following a Thermage procedure, your skin may feel tighter, smoother and more youthful. Overtime, you will notice additional tightening.
How many treatments will I need?
Unlike many laser procedures requiring four or more sessions, a single Thermage treatment has produced results in the majority of patients. Dr. Alice will determine the course of treatment that is right for you.
When will I see results?
Recently published studies show that measurable tightening improvements appear gradually over 2 to 6 months after a single treatment session. However, many patients have reported seeing an earlier response.
How long will the effects of the Thermage procedure last?
The Thermage procedure may cause immediate tightening of the collagen structure, with additional tightening over time. Unpublished reports by experienced cosmetic physicians indicate that results may last 24 months or longer based on your natural aging process.
Is it safe?
The Thermage procedure has an excellent safety record. With over 275,000 estimated worldwide patient treatments to date the reported incidence of side effects is less than 0.4%. The most frequently reported incidents are classified as swelling, redness, bumps and blisters on or around the treated area. These side effects may resolve in a few days or weeks. A rare (<0.08%) but longer lasting side effect described as a surface irregularity has also been reported.
How long before I can return to my normal activities?
Most people return to their regular activities immediately following the Thermage procedure. Some people experience mild redness (like a sunburn), but it usually disappears quickly. No special care is needed after treatment unless otherwise instructed.

Botox:
BOTOX is a purified protein produced by the Clostridium botulinum bacterium, which reduces the activity of the muscles that cause those frown lines between the brows, crows feet and other wrinkles, to form over time. It also is used to improve neck lines and control excessive sweating.
The beauty of a BOTOX treatment is that it's a simple, 10-minute, non-surgical process, with absolutely no downtime. A few tiny injections, and within days there can be a noticeable improvement in the moderate to severe frown lines between the brows that can last up to 4 months.
- The physician will administer several tiny injections of BOTOX directly into the muscles that cause those moderate to severe frown lines between the brows.
- The physician will determine where to administer the injections by examining your ability to move certain muscles in your brow area. The location, size, and use of the muscles that create a furrowed brow vary markedly among individuals.
- No anesthesia is required, although the physician may choose to numb the area with a cold pack or anesthetic cream prior to injecting. Discomfort is usually minimal and brief.
BOTOX should not be used in the presence of infection at the proposed injection site(s) and in individuals with known hypersensitivity to any ingredient in the formulation. Patients with neuromuscular disorders such as ALS, myasthenia gravis or Lambert-Eaton syndrome may be at increased risk of serious side effects.
Although the results are visible, a treatment with BOTOX will not radically change your facial appearance or make you look as if you "had work done." The muscle activity that causes frown lines between the brows is simply reduced, so you can still frown or look surprised without the wrinkles and creases between your brows.

Juvederm®/Surgiderm®:
What is Juvederm®/Surgiderm®?
Juvederm®/Surgiderm® are safe and natural cosmetic dermal fillers that restores volume and fullness to the skin to correct moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds, best used for areas such as crow’s feet, glabellar frown lines, forehead lines, laughing lines, cheek wrinkles, marionette lines.
The Juvederm®/Surgiderm® range are cross linked hyaluronic acid which is claimed to allow for a tighter, more uniform, and greater number of cross-link structures – allowing greater resistance to degradation, meaning that it claims to last longer than other hyaluronic based fillers.
Surgiderm 18 is designed for injection into the superficial dermis for fine lines such as laughter lines around the eyes and the smoker lines or peri-oral lines above the top lip.
Surgiderm 24 XP, Juvederm 24 is designed for injection into the medium dermis for medium to deep lines and wrinkles, and for enhancing the border on the lips (vermillion border).
Surgiderm 30 is designed for injection into the deep dermis for treatment of deep lines and wrinkles and deep skin depressions.
Surgiderm 30 XP is designed for injection into all three levels of the dermis and can be used for the treatment of medium and deep skin depressions, the enhancement of volume, such as cheek atrophy or sunken areas, and also for enhancing the border of the lips (vermillion border).
What should I do prior to treatment?
Juvederm®/Surgiderm® requires no pretesting, but you should take a few precautions before being treated. Avoid using aspirin, non-steroidal anti-inflammatory medication, St. John's wort, or high doses of Vitamin E supplements prior to treatment, because these may increase bruising or bleeding at the injection site.
Is Juvederm®/Surgiderm® safe? How long does it last?
Yes. They are both non-animal stabilized hyaluronic acid, and will be completely broken down within the skin over a period of months, eventually leaving no trace of the filler. Hyaluronic acid is a substance found naturally in the human body. Juvederm®/Surgiderm® is fully biocompatible. The most commonly reported side effects were temporary redness and swelling at the injection site. These effects typically resolve in less than seven days.
After Juvederm®/Surgiderm® is injected beneath your skin, the hyaluronic acid attracts and bonds with water molecules sustaining the affects for up 6, 12 months or even longer. They are both non-animal stabilized hyaluronic acid, and will be completely broken down within the skin over a period of months, eventually leaving no trace of the filler.
Do the injections hurt?
Juvederm®/Surgiderm® is injected directly into the skin in tiny amounts by an ultrafine needle, resulting in minimal discomfort. The procedure is simple and convenient, and results are practically instantaneous. To optimize your comfort during the short procedure, the treatment area may be anesthetized.
Juvederm®/Surgiderm® can be used in conjunction with Botox and with resurfacing techniques such as chemical peels for maximum rejuvenation results.

What is Bio-Alcamid® /Aquamid®?
Bio-Alcamid® is made up of 96% water and 4% synthetic reticulate polymer. This blend guarantees softness to the touch; the implant has a similar consistency to the surrounding tissues without causing unsightly artificial bumps.
Aquamid® is a transparent, injectable implant in hydrogel form. The hydrogel is composed of 97.5% sterile water bound to 2.5% cross-linked polymers. These have been used safely in biomedicine for decades.
These injectable implants become a soft and stable part of your tissue, and are as close to your own body cells as can be. They are non-resorbable, non-toxic and non-allergenic. They do not disappear, and do not move from the injection site. Here they are used for reducing laugh lines and marionette lines, cheek augmentation, lips augmentation, chin augmentation, nose augmentation, buttocks augmentation and acne scarring.

Intense Pulse Light:
For permanent hair removal:
The IPL process uses intense pulsed light to gently remove unwanted hair, putting an end to routine shaving and waxing. IPL treatments leave your skin looking and feeling smoother and silkier. This patented technology transcends the older, painful hair removal treatments to deliver long lasting results. IPL's wide beam treats larger areas such as the back, shoulders, arms, legs and face rather than treating one hair at a time.
IPL works equally well on most skin pigmentations without removing any of the pigment. IPL hair removal can also safely and effectively eliminate hair of all colors: blond, red, brown, black and even white. Hair around sensitive areas such as the lip or nipples may be treated while maintaining healthy, normal appearance of the surrounding tissue.
Treatments can last from a few minutes to a few hours depending on the size of the area being treated. IPL treatments are relatively painless, yet effective.

Q-Switched ND YAG Laser:
The Q-switched Nd:YAG/Long Pulse laser is commonly used for facial lines, wrinkles and laxity, tattoos, lentigines, acne and freckles.
This laser deliver very short pulses of laser light which vaporizes the upper layers of damaged skin at specific and controlled levels of penetration.
The procedure is most commonly used to minimize the appearance of fine lines, especially around the mouth and the eyes. However, it is also effective in treating facial scars or areas of uneven pigmentation. Laser resurfacing may be performed on the whole face or in specific regions. Often, the procedure is done in conjunction with another cosmetic operation, such as a facelift or eyelid surgery.
In many cases, facial wrinkles form in localized areas, such as near the eyes or around the mouth. The laser can be precisely controlled so that only these specific areas are targeted.
Patients with olive skin, brown skin or black skin may be at increased risk for pigmentation changes no matter what type of resurfacing method is recommended. The physician will evaluate your skin characteristics and make recommendations accordingly.
Treatment and healing:
This is a relatively quick procedure. It usually takes anywhere from a few minutes to 1 1/2 hours, depending on how large of an area is involved. You are likely to experience some mild swelling and discomfort afterwards.
Your new skin will usually remain bright pink to red in the weeks following the procedure. You may be prescribed medications to make this color subside more rapidly. After about two weeks or so, most patients can safely apply makeup to conceal this temporary color change.

Chemical Peel:
The Skin Tech TCA Peel can restore a more youthful appearance to wrinkled, unevenly pigmented, sun-damaged, or blotchy skin. However, a peel cannot reverse the aging process or completely remove deep scars. Wrinkled skin that is loose and sagging may also require a face-lift, laser resurfacing treatment, or combination of procedures for best results.\
How it works:
All chemical peels involve applying a chemical solution to remove the outer layers of skin so that a smoother, more evenly pigmented, glowing layer of skin can appear. The physician may choose from the following two types of chemical peel, or he/she may tailor the treatment to the needs of your skin. Each type works differently, and produces different results. In general, the stronger the chemical, the deeper the peel, and the more impressive the results. However, the deeper the peel, the more pain you’re likely to experience and the longer the recovery time will be.
No sedation or anesthesia is required, since the patient only experiences a slight stinging when the solution is applied. The treatment usually takes about 10 to 15 minutes, but the physician may vary the concentration of the chemical solution or the length of time of the treatment.
Trichloroacetic acids (TCA) A TCA solution is used for medium depth peels. This is generally used to treat skin with moderate sun damage, surface wrinkles, and/or uneven tone or pigment abnormalities. Full-face TCA peels take approximately 15 minutes. Generally, TCA peels are performed in the doctor’s office or in a surgery center as an outpatient procedure.
At first, the patient may feel a warm or burning sensation, followed by stinging. Sometimes two or more TCA peel treatments, at intervals of one to two months, are necessary to achieve the desired results.

Microdermabrasion:
Microdermabrasion is a skin-freshening technique that helps repair facial skin that takes a beating from the sun and the effects of aging. The physician uses a device like a fine sandblaster to spray tiny crystals across the face, mixing gentle abrasion with suction to remove the dead, outer layer of skin.
Microdermabrasion can correct rough skin texture, some types of scarring, uneven pigmentation, and age (liver) spots. It can also remove or improve whiteheads and black heads, some stretch marks, and fine wrinkles. By removing superficial layers of the skin, microdermabrasion allows new skin to appear. In fact, this procedure even stimulates the growth of new skin cells; and can be used for all skin types and skin tones.
How it works:
The procedure typically takes about 15 to 30 minutes. Immediately after the procedure, you can apply makeup and return to normal activities. The skin will turn pink immediately afterward, but this color will fade within a few hours.
The results of this treatment are often subtle improvements in texture and the appearance of refreshed-looking skin. Depending on the severity of the problem, the procedure may be repeated to achieve more dramatic results, and may be combined with chemical peels and/or laser resurfacing to create smoother, younger-looking skin.

Mesotherapy:
Mesotherapy is one of the most requested non-surgical cosmetic procedures for cellulite treatment, liposculpting and body contouring, facial rejuvenation treatments, weight loss and hair-regrowth.
Mesotherapy has been proven successful with significant effect in anti-aging and skin rejuvenation particularly on the face and neck. With the injection of multi-vitamins, amino acids and mineral cocktails, it helps in fighting free radicals, stimulating fibroblasts, accelerating renewal of skin layers and re-hydrating the extra-cellular matrix. As a result, it smoothen wrinkles, lightens pigmentation/superficial skin layers and enhances tone, elasticity as well as microcirculation.
Today, mesotherapy treatments are still among the most effective adjuvant therapies available, particularly for weight loss and cellulite reduction. It is a proven solution for spot weight reduction and elimination of cellulite. Often, cellulite and excessive fats deposits appeared on thighs, hips tummy, shoulder and arms. Mesotherapy targets these problem areas and seeks to reduce them over a period of time. Each patient is different and the results will vary depending upon a variety of factors and the number of treatments. However you could possibly experience a significant reduction of unwanted cellulite deposits in as little as 5 weeks.
How it works:
The principle behind the treatment is through delivery of small quantities of vitamins, minerals, amino acids and medications directly to the desired area of the face, body, or hair using a painless microinjection technique.
Meso-Lipo (for Post-Liposuction)
A cocktail of vitamins, amino acids, minerals and supplements is administered in a specific area of your body. This blocks the cells at that area from storing fats while stimulating its burn up the fats.
